Family, ritual and tradition are all core values of mine. I didn’t have the title or the official training, but the passion and desire to turn everyday events into occasions and traditional life cycle events into personal, customized milestones has been a part of me my whole life. When I talk to friends about becoming a Celebrant, everyone’s response is, “you’ve been doing that all your life” and in some ways that is really true. There have been many events since those days many years ago, but I am always aware of the importance of make-believe in shaping who we are and what we do. I had planned and officiated at my first major event my precious dolls’ wedding. ![]() Barbie and Ken’s wedding is still one of the first and strongest memories that I have. As the two most plastic, stiff bride and groom jumped down the aisle I couldn’t have been more proud. ![]() It must be something special that I am not doing.♫ Here comes the bride, here comes the bride…♫. So please email me with this problem so that I can research and fix it. I tried it on my Mac and the colors seem to save correctly. If this color issue can be fixed, I’ll re-evaluate, but for now, iWeaveIt Pro isn’t usable to me. I also have the app version on my Kindle and have not experienced this issue. I realize that software design is complex and there are a lot of variables involved, but this is priced as professional grade software and I need it to work. There are are lot of little issues that could be improved on, but for now they take a back seat to the color problem. Not just a shade shift, but totally different random hues. You can create a palette of beautiful custom colors, save the file, and the next time you open it up, all of the colors will have changed. The color handling just doesn’t work well. This software has great potential, but I am disappointed with one serious flaw.
